Researched listings are identified as such rather than described as personal visits. Transport information comes from published sources or route lookups; a planning allowance is not a measured journey.
Meals, discounts and independence
Some visits are paid for personally. If a restaurant provides a meal or a discount, the review discloses what was provided at the top of the post. Receiving something does not make the place suitable for every traveller. Recommendations should reflect the visit and the practical needs of the reader, not an invented criticism or an obligation to praise.

Prices and operating details can change. A date attached to a price describes when it was recorded, not a guarantee of today’s price. Check current opening hours before travelling, particularly around holidays and break times.
